Marshmallow and Magnolia : Over ons

Getting married is magical.
The moment where everything comes together, the love between the bridal couple, the guests, the feeling that everything comes to a standstill and you dive into another world for 24 hours (or longer).
I can only say that we are a little bit addicted to weddings and every time we find it a huge honor to be part of a wedding.

Four years ago we started under the name of Madame Petite and with the rental of beautiful pieces of furniture with a story for weddings and events.
We have now grown into a styling agency that comes to take care of your most beautiful day with a lot of passion and love.

In addition to the rental, we take care of the entire styling of your beautiful day from A to Z and we bring your wishes to life.
Flowers play a key factor in this, because they literally complete everything. No styling without flowers! We take care of the flower arrangements for your day or party with love and an eye for details.
We hope to make your wedding, event or photo shoot a lot more personal and beautiful with our items, styling and flowers.

In addition to weddings, we also provide styling and rental for events and in the past we have enjoyed working for Cultural Capital Leeuwarden 2018, Theater Sneek, Playgrounds Festival in Breda and Eindhoven, Hunkemöller campagain 2020 (spring/autumn), Sissy Boy or One Local. Our photoshoots, which we were allowed to participate in, have been published in the Wedding Plans magazine (2018/2019 edition), zankyou, Sisters in Law in Sweden, the Lane , VogueLiving or Girls of Honour.

So... who is Julia?
That's me, 32 years young and the face of and behind Marshmallow & Magnolia Styling. I am married to my childhood sweetheart Mario and mother of two little girls Lotte (3 years) and Ellie (1 year).
I was born and raised in Germany and have been living in the Netherlands since my studies in 2008. We have been able to organize weddings for 4 years and it is always a party to be part of such a special and beautiful day.

Things that make me happy:
flowers / a summer evening / delicious and extended dinner with friends and family / a sunset / hot chocolate (with whipped cream!) after a long walk / a good book / tapping of rain on the windows / long and extensive cuddle sessions on Sunday morning with my kids / the smell of fresh croissants / warm earth tones / cake / the first days of spring / travel / sushi / tulip fields / the smell of the sea
